Salute to Public Music Education

As public music education funding diminishes, the Nanaimo International Jazz Festival Association is investing in efforts to bolster support for students. This year, students of the Wellington Jazz Academy are given opportunities for audience exposure and experience at a number of our events.

It’s our goal to expand this support growing the program to include other districts in the mid-Island. Your support can help this happen. Donors receive a charitable receipt for income tax purposes and knowledge that you’re helping young people explore their place in the future of jazz music and, more broadly, arts and culture in your community.
