In 2023 our Festival was named BC’s Best Festival by BC’s Live Performance Network. That year, Nanaimo native Diana Krall joined us on-stage in a special tribute to Bryan Stovall — her high school teacher. Bryan is a lifelong music educator and board member of MusicFest Canada and Advisor to our Board of Directors.
